Aid & CPR Classes.
Authorized Provider
An Authorized Provider is an individual or organization who is certified
to offer Red Cross programs at your facility, with your own Red Cross
trained instructors. Teach courses to employees of your business or members
of your organization - whenever and wherever you want. Teaching life saving
courses provides an excellent benefit to your employees and ensures you
have trained people on hand to respond to unexpected emergencies. By sending
one of your employees to our New Instructor Training class, you can teach
the American Red Cross courses in-house as often as you'd like. Training
to become an American Red Cross instructor involves two days of training
and a commitment to teach at least one class every two years to maintain
certification. Materials and equipment for the classes you teach can be
purchased from us and you may choose to rent the training manikins, AED
trainers and training DVDs. For more information, contact Larry Decker
at (719) 785-2713 or ldecker@pparc.org.
You can also visit Community First Aid & CPR
Classes for the schedule of and to register for the New Instructor
Training course.
See Becoming
an Authorized Provider for more information, what steps you will need
to follow and sample prices.
Full Service Training
We'll come to you! You can schedule us to come to your facility and teach
a private training for your group. We are available during business hours,
evenings, weekends and even third shift training if necessary. For
information regarding onsite group training for your workplace and other
groups, please see Onsite Group Training
for more information.
Good
Samaritan Law
The Colorado
Good Samaritan Law helps to protect rescuers who voluntarily help
a victim in distress. These laws are designed to encourage people to help
a stranger who is in need of assistance by reducing the fear that they
could held accountable if they inadvertently make a mistake during treatment.
Additionally, in Colorado, House bill 99-1283
also provides protection for use of Automated External Defibrillators
(AED's).
