Keep Your Furry Friends Safe Your pet depends on you for his or her well-being. In addition to providing daily care, love and affection, your best friend depends on you in an emergency. Whether your pet becomes ill or injured, or needs help in a disaster, the American Red Cross can help.

Dog First Aid & CPR Class
In our Dog First Aid & CPR class you'll learn how to administer medications, recognize an emergency, perform CPR and first aid, treat common problems and emergencies requiring immediate attention, and other topics. The class is $35 per person and each student receives a full-color book with DVD and a chance to practice the CPR skills on our dog manikins. Cat First Aid & CPR Class
Currently we do not offer a Cat First Aid and CPR class to the general public, but you can purchase the Cat First Aid and CPR Book and DVD as a resource for you and your beloved cats. If you're interested in scheduling a Cat First Aid and CPR class for a private group, please see below for more information.

Dog and Cat First Aid Book and DVD

Our Dog First Aid and Cat First Aid books teach you emergency care procedures for cats and dogs and provides tips for keeping your pet happy and healthy too. Created for conscientious pet owners, the Dog First Aid and Cat First Aid full-color reference guides build first aid skills and provides guidance for emergency situation until veterinary care is available. Each guide is packaged with a DVD that demonstrates how to perform many of the first aid steps described in the book. If you don't have time to take one of our classes, this book and DVD is a great reference for you. Each book is $17 and can be purchased by stopping in at our offices at 1040 S. 8th Street in Colorado Springs or 4104 Outlook Blvd., Suite 135D in Pueblo. Our Pet First Aid Kits are perfect for any pet emergency! Kits can be purchased by stopping by our offices at 1040 S. 8th Street in Colorado Springs or 4104 Outlook Blvd., Suite 135D in Pueblo. If we don't currently have one of these items in stock, we'll order it for you! Products can be picked up at our office at 1040 S. 8th Street, Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm. We currently do not ship orders.
