Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer for the Pikes Peak Chapter! Help us help you decide if our organization is a good match for you by taking the Volunteer Self Assessment Survey. Here are the steps you need to follow to become a volunteer: Step #1 - Attend a Volunteer Orientation at our Colorado Springs or Pueblo office. You must R.S.V.P. to our Volunteer Coordinator at least one week prior to the Orientation by calling (719) 785-2724 or email. The schedule is as follows: Held at our Colorado Springs office at 1040 S. 8th Street, 80905. Evenings 5pm - 6:30pm:
Mornings 10am - 11:30am:
Step #2 - Complete a Volunteer Application, which includes a background check. Step #3 - Determine volunteer interest. Step #4 - If interested in becoming a disaster volunteer, schedule an interview with the Emergency Services department. Step #5 - Begin training (if required). Step #6 - VOLUNTEER!
Join the Red Cross team by donating your time and talents. Volunteers are the heart and soul of the American Red Cross. Volunteers serve at all levels of the organization, from disaster relief, providing health and safety instruction to coordinating casework, performing clerical tasks and greeting people at the front desk. The Pikes Peak Chapter delivers services in our communities through the support of people just like you giving generously of their time and talents.
